I am looking at the plain blackness of my blog and it sickens me. Can anyone help me? All 3 of you who read this... do you know anyone who can hook me up with some sweet blog decor???
I think it must be a rule at UVU that to be a math teacher, you must have a foreign accent. Every math class I have ever had came with a difficult to understand teacher from some foreign country (currently Russia) and it makes learning very difficult. I already have a short attention span when it comes to math, so throwing in someone who is difficult to understand, no matter how good they are at math, makes my (and I believe many others') learning process very tiring and difficult. We are having a test in two days, and I don't understand anything. I asked a question, and the teacher doesn't seem to understand what I am needing to know. If I fail this test (which I won't), I'll know why. Don't get me wrong though, I am not saying we shouldn't hire foreign teachers, but at least hire someone who speaks intelligibly.
I am also in pursuit of another job. Options I am considering are:
1. The MTC (difficult, but good pay and its kind of like being a missionary again!)
2. Saving up money as much as possible, getting another student loan, and hunting an internship.
3. Working with Dan at this Catering place (he doesn't know that I want that.... so maybe that won't work)
If anyone is hiring in Provo with a pay higher than $9 an hour (minimum), please contact me... please!

Correcting Political Correctness.
I suck a english research papers.
here is a sample of mine
"We live in a country built on revolutionary principles. The Founding Fathers had a vision of a country where a man could speak his mind without fear of a King or Dictator stopping you. Free Speech, in other words. When the Bill of Rights was put into effect on December 15, 1791, they assumed that no man would be able to erroneously interpret their dreams of the first truly free country. That, however, did not hold true. Free Speech has become Free Speech with certain limits, almost a list of “things you can say” and “things you cannot say”."

Fast Weeks, General Conference, and French Toast
Well there we have it. One more conference weekend. My first one back in the states!! For the saturday morning session we made french toast! (Correction... Dan did) They were delicious! I enjoyed each session, but especially the sunday ones. And is it just me, or does Elder Holland just make you wanna go to Salt Lake with a Book of Mormon and just slam it in some anti-mormon guys' face? He gets me so psyched up to bear testimony. I think that is way God has put him in a place where his voice can be heard. Wow.... simply wow. I noticed that a common theme throughout conference was love and revelation. Do you think God us trying to tell us something? Mens hearts must truly be failing them if the prophets are all speaking on how much we need to love others, especially those close to us.
This week just blew by. It seems like yesterday I was one my couch with Kelsey Mordue watching longboard videos when in reality that was seven days ago! Between work, tests, and other things these 7 days just blew on by!
This week, Verona makes its musical debut at the Gateway, and I couldn't be more nervous and excited! Thursday at 6:00 PM come see us!!!! It should be a good one. We are playing a lot of great music so come give us a look!
Sorry, no interesting rants today.... its sunday! Gotta keep it chill. Tchau!

Been a while...
It has been a while since I have written anything and my blog page is still unedited and lame. BUT i have a few minutes before class so I thought I would throw some writings your way!
On to my favorite topic: Annoying People
First on my list is hardcore advocates of ANYTHING! Get out of my grill! I said I am not interested the first time and I don't care how Burger King kills their chicken I will always eat meat. I don't care how bad it's getting in Africa because we send millions of dollars there every year and to be honest, where has that got us thus far? Where is this billions of dollars donated to AIDS research going each year? Have we made progress? I'm sure if a cure was discovered I would know about it by now. I recently read an article that stated that $3040 is used in AIDS research for every death caused by the disease!!! Strikingly large compared to the minuscule $37 dollars that is used for cardiovascular disease study. I am fine if you want to promote your cause and try and help people with AIDS, but can you bug me less about it? If it is something important like The Civil Rights movement, you can be loud, but come on, chicken treatment? Leave me alone.
Second, sports! UTES WON! 'nuff said! Also, did you all see Brett Favre leading comebacks like John Elway (or himself 10 years ago)? Awesome! As a long time Vikings fan i was quite happy with the result, and I am also ashamed because I was really mad to see that the Viks signed Favre, but the season is still young, and it was just the 49ers, so let's not jump to any conclusions here.
Anyway that is all the time I have for now, I've got to get to institute! yay!!!
